We often complain about the fact that the educational system focuses more on growing theoretical background, rather than applied knowledge, a fact that makes the quest of finding a first job pretty difficult. An internship program is a handy resource one can use to actually dig in that theoretical background and do something practical about it. Moreover, an internship can be the first step in the career of your dreams.
For 2 months you will get the chance to work side by side with professionals in the field, to deepen your understanding of certain programming languages or testing. You will learn new things, put at work those you already know, receive easy-to-apply tips and tricks and answer all your questions that might come along. At the end of the process, you will have to put together a project and carry it forth to our colleagues and your mentors. At the end of the 2 months, based on the feedback you receive, on your performance during the internship and, of course, your will, you might be one of our new colleagues!
There will be 2 tracks you can choose from:
Front-End (Angular) & Back-End (Java)
Quality Assurance
For each track you will need 4 hours/ day, 5 days/ week, 4 weeks for the live classes and, of course, some extra time to do your own research, read the documentation and complete the assignments you receive for the following class. It’s the thing you do with the things you get from us that will make the difference.
This program is for you if you’re a tech enthusiast, you have an IT background (you’re in final year in the Mathematics & Informatics University or have taken IT classes independently) and you are interested in a career in IT.

All the live sessions will take place on Skype, so make sure you have a laptop with a good internet connection, access to Skype, an operative camera and microphone options and a cozy, quiet place to sit and sip in all the information.
Here’s a quick preview of the mentors involved in this year’s internship:
Nicoleta is a Senior Java Developer, working in this field for more than 12 years. She is proficient in Java, Struts, Spring, Tomcat, JBoss, Hibernate, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, jQuery, Javascript, HTML, Freemarker. Besides this passion for coding, she’s also passionate about teaching, having summer Java classes at Transylvania University in Brasov.
Roxana is a Front-End Developer, passionate about her job and grateful that she has the opportunity to extend her knowledge with this kind of activity. She started as a software developer in a small company where she was developing native applications for the iOS platform and learned a lot hands-on. When she came to Kronsoft, two years ago, she started developing web applications with Angular. The best part, she says, is that her work and ideas are appreciated and have a significant impact on the projects she’s involved in.
Denis is a frontend developer at Kronsoft Development for 2 years now. He is dealing with Angular most of the time, but he also has experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, Ngxs, GIT, some basic Java and PHP. He loves his job because he can manage his time as he wants, but mainly because there is always something new to learn and he is constantly up to date with the new technologies, due to his involvement in various kinds of projects.
Raluca has been working in Kronsoft for more than 7 years. She started as a Manual Tester and one year ago she switched to Automated Testing. She had the chance to work on various projects, learn a lot of things and also develop the main assets for this career: analytical thinking, attention to detail and communication skills. Her domains of testing span both on mobile and web applications in the pharmaceutical and healthcare domain, starting with e-commerce websites, pharmacy apps and even online booking.
